"I have some different requirements, can you help?"
Absolutely – BMW Rider Training can tailor a course to suit your needs. Here are some of the most common requests and comments we receive:
"I’ve already got my CBT" – if you’ve completed a CBT on a manual (geared) bike within the past 24 months, then you may want to consider a shorter, five or six–day DAS course
"I’m a bit nervous" – if you think you may need some more time to build your confidence in a safe environment, we can offer an extended eight–day course
"What about shorter riders?" – we can supply a lowered G 650 GS or F 650 GS for those below 5’3" and, if required, extend the course duration to give you time to build confidence. We also have optional lower seats for both bikes – meaning we can tailor a bike to suit your height and size. We’ll ensure you're 100% comfortable on the bike before we start your training.
"I can’t do a week in one go" – if you can’t fit in the whole course in one go, we can arrange for two shorter courses – the first will end with the Module One test and the second, at a later date, with the Module Two test
"I’d like some one–to–one training" – our Direct Access courses match one instructor to two students. But if you want to go solo, that’s not a problem. Please click here for more information.
"I don’t have any kit" – BMW Rider Training can supply a helmet, jacket, trousers, gloves and waterproofs free of charge – all you’ll need are sturdy, comfortable boots
"I haven’t passed my theory test" – we can lend you a DVD with the DSA’s Official Theory Test and Hazard Perception revision software when you book your DAS course
"Where will I be staying" – World of BMW have a list of recommended accommodation providers in the local area. Please contact us for more information.
